The purpose of this Biscayne, whether in it's former life as an Oregon Highway Patrol Car or in it's current configuration as a street/strip nostalgia car, was to go fast. While alot of classic cars boast of what options they have, this Biscayne shines above the rest because of what it doesn't have. No unneeded extra weight to slow you down. If you're looking for creature comforts, this is definately not your ride.
If you're a fan of the golden age of NHRA drag racing, early to mid 1960's, this Biscayne would be the perfect car to drop in your 348 ci or 409ci engine. In fact, the car is currently running these 409 parts: Radiator & Hoses, Air Cleaner, fan Shroud & Clutch Fan, Battery Cables. The current owner says he has never raced this Biscayne at the strip or on the street.
