This Morgan has spent the last 15 years with the current owner here on Vancouver Island and was only driven on dry summer days. Originally, it was right-hand drive, but shortly after being imported to British Columbia, it was converted to left-hand drive. Also shortly after that, it was repainted from the factory orange to British Racing Green.*
*Paint is older now (driver quality), and around the front turn signals there is some cracking.
These are very low-production, hand-built sports cars. Morgan, which currently still manufactures in the UK, has been producing sports cars for 115 years! Up until 1936, Morgan only produced 3-wheel vehicles. Then they started manufacturing 4-wheel vehicles, and that is where the 4/4 designation came from: 4 wheels, 4 cylinders.
