Jon's 1942 Dodge Blackout
This is a very rare and unusual American Production car. This particular car was only built for about three months after world war ll started. Notice all the trim is painted, the reason for this was the need for the precious metals for the war effort. Basically this a 1942 Dodge but with all chrome and stainless steel trim item not being plated. This car was only sold to personnel who could be of help toward the war effort. It was was owned by a farmer and he used it for more than 45 years. I received ownership in 1994 and began the restoration. One thing of interest on this car is that it has an adapter for hooking up a milking machine and so this car can milk a cow! Needless to say when I show my Dodge, that milking machine is the most asked about thing on the car. Jon
