1932 Ford Brookville Roadster ALL STEEL ALL FORD

This outstanding Deuce roadster, created and fabricated by its only owner, is an outstanding vehicle, well constructed, uniquely configured, and very pleasing to the eye with a perfect hot rod stance.
The steel Brookville body and fenders on this show quality roadster are finished in a brilliant, two tone Old Gold and Silver PPG Prizmatique two stage paint that glistens as if it is still wet.
The color scheme was inspired by the award winning Chip Foose “Magnatude Roadster” but it is more traditional in style.
This ride displays a judicious amount of chrome trim, a removable tan Hartz cloth top, and with American Racing polished TorqThrust rims and big and little rubber this hot rod has a nostalgic appearance that earns it top honors at any car show. Yet, as beautiful as it is, this roadster was not built to be a show car.
It has been carefully engineered and constructed to be a daily driver; reliable and safe enough to take a road trip anywhere. It is registered in Nevada as a 1932 Ford and has just over 1300 miles on the odometer since it first rolled out of the garage where it was built.
The superb SoCal chassis and undercarriage of this little hauler is equal to the shiny side of the car.
It is completely painted, and glittering with polished aluminum, stainless steel and chrome components.
Handling is easy with a TCI independent front suspension with rack and pinion steering, and aft, a polished Kugel rear end with a Strange center section and 3.50:1 gears, gives the car independent rear suspension.
The result: This Deuce drives and rides like a new car.
Safe stops are assured with ABS disc brakes all around, and coilover shocks allow for ride adjustment to suit the driver.
Engine cooling is provided by a Walker four core radiator and electric fan, and the Deuce has E-Stop electric emergency brakes.
Under the hood, a throbbing Ford Motorsports 5 Liter V8 engine with tuned port injection provides the go power.
Like every square inch of this car, the engine, is built to perform.
Bored over 0.030, with Eagle rods, Wiseco forged pistons, Comp Cams roller rockers, twisted wedge R11 aluminum heads, and Ford X-303 cam and lifters, this roadster is formidable.
Of course, the engine is beautifully detailed and hospital room sanitary.
A Hughes performance built Ford AOD 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission handles the gear mixing and at more than 350 horsepower this lightweight roadster is a joy to drive.
Running new radial rubber (P195/65/R15 front, P265/70/R15 rear) on traditional rims, this hotrod hauler has the perfect stance.
The rear end features a custom roll pan by Steve’s Auto Restorations, and the gas tank has been relocated behind the front bulkhead of the finished trunk – enlarged to 17 gallon capacity for long road trips.
The comfortable interior is finished in a contrasting bone and mocha motif.
Luxurious custom crafted, heated, bucket seats provide a comfortable ride no matter how long the voyage.
Keeping it simple, the dashboard bezel houses a full complement of Classic instruments.
The custom built, removable top fits tightly to the chopped Dan Fink windshield frame.
Other features include Ron Francis wiring, console mounted Lokar shifter, an Ididit chrome tilt steering column with a custom leather wrapped steering wheel, and plush wool carpeting.
Unique to this vehicle is the exceptional detailing that sets it apart from most others of its type.
The sparkling Dan Fink grille is surrounded by a seamless grille shell, dropped headlight bar, turn signals inside the headlights, and several other custom touches.
The engineering that went into this hotrod makes it as easy to maintain as it is fun to drive.

So, how much is it worth?
If someone took the pictures of this car to a “professional hot rod shop” and asked to have it duplicated, here is the reality of today’s cost to build a steel 1932 Ford roadster.
The parts, beginning with the body and chassis, engine, and transmission tally to over $50,000.
Add to that all of the other parts to complete the exterior, interior, top, and, of course, the top-of-the-line custom paint and the pile of parts now grows to over $80,000.
Assuming we have that pile of parts, and we have a shop that would put them together within a reasonable time frame (about 6 months) the manhours would total between 1500 and 1800 hours – at nominal shop rates of $100 per hour ($150,000 to $180,000).
Now the total cost totals up to about a quarter million bucks.
Very few people have the talent to take on a project like this from start to finish.
Yet, here is a car that is ready to drive right now, and it is being offered at a fraction of that big Six Figure cost.
The owner/builder is ready to move on to another project, so this special hot rod will be sold to fund a new ride.
