Homer Davenport Days Car Show - August 2, 2014
The Silverton Flywheels host this car show that is part of Silverton's Homer Davenport Days. In addition to being the Gateway to Silver Falls State Park, Silverton is well known as the city where part of the movie "Bandits", with Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thorton was filmed and also...the city's larger than life art, in the form of murals throughout this quaint downtown community.
The show is held in the Silverton City Park, offering a shady, relaxed atmosphere where participants can sit around and mingle or stroll through the craft and vendor booths of the Homer Davenport Days event. Whenever you attend an event in Silverton, allow yourself some extra time to take in all the sights, history and beauty it offers. Can you tell I'm just a little fond of this town? You will be too, trust me!
