This 1940 Chevrolet Coupe Project has been sold.
New Pictures and description as of 9/12/25
1940 Master 85.
Fun project for the winter.
Pretty much a blank slate... Street rod/Gasser?
Floor pan and trunk pan are solid as are the body mounts
There is a little rust under the rear bumper and a little on the inside bottom passenger door
A little bit here and there but overall pretty solid... frame is solid
Has a 292 6 cyl w/HEI with a super T10 4 speed behind it
Also comes with new crossmember for transmission
New master cylinder with bracketry
Swing pedal setup
New motor mounts that are already installed
Tilt steering wheel
New Chrome trunk hinges
Fender welt etc...more stuff I'm not thinking about
Has BMW bucket seats installed
Needs some glass, windshield mostly
I have the rubber for the windshield
Door windows roll up and down
Needs wiring
No upholstery to speak of
Again this is a project but it's a really good start
If somebody doesn't want the goodies that goes with it, I will knock the price off accordingly
I'm too old to take it any further it needs some young blood now
It definitely deserves a comeback!
