13k Miles since Ground-Up Restoration.
Mild Performance and Aesthetic modification.
In 47 years from 1968 to 2015, this 1968 El Camino custom model had only been driven 87,000 miles.
Then, this extremely nice, no-hit, no-rust car was sold to a collector who performed a ground-up, frame-off restoration in 2015.
Virtually every part of this vehicle was removed and either replaced, refurbished, re-machined, re-chromed and/or repainted, then completely rebuilt.
He then sold it to his car-collector friend who then sold it to me in 2019.
It has been my daily driver since then.
It has 100k miles now, but I have only driven it 13k miles since the rebuild.
It looks, drives, and feels like a brand-new car.

I have decided to sell this beautiful car because of recent major medical expenses.

*Matching number original EE code 327 275 hp V8.
*Original Powerglide transmission was replaced with a 200 4R overdrive transmission.
*Original 336 geared, non-posi 10 bolt rear end.
*Stock high-performance intake manifold.
*Original Rochester Quadrajet 700, completely rebuilt and refurbished.
*All of the drive train components have been completely rebuilt.
*Front and rear 3/4" sway bars installed.
*Heavy duty supports welded to rear control arms.
*2" drop spindles in the front and 1" inch drop coils in the rear.
*American Racing wheels 17x7 and 17x8.
*Tires 215 and 235 ZR 17. Falken Ziex ZE-912s.
*Factory disc brake car with all new brakes front and rear.
*New dual exhaust with Flow Master mufflers and stainless tips.

Body:
*The body was professionally painted with high quality Sikkens base coat & clear coat. Color was changed from the original Seafrost Green to Palomino Ivory.
*1968 SS hood was located, refurbished and installed .
*All of the bed trim was replaced with GM NOS stainless moldings.
*Grill is NOS GM.
*All stainless window trim was professionally polished.
*The body side moldings were polished and re-anodized.
*The original bumpers, exterior door handles and tail gate handle were all re-chromed at Oregon Plating.
*All of the emblems are NOS and were purchased from Gary Dunn Chevrolet Parts in Portland, Oregon.
*Custom Dynamat bed liner

Interior:
*This is a factory air car and the original Frigidaire factory air has been refurbished and works as it should.
*A very rare tilt steering column was located, rebuilt and installed.
*Original Elco Bucket seats were located and refurbished with new foam and high quality seat covers.
*New carpet with Dyna Mat installed.
*Rare Horseshoe style floor shift console with correct overdrive indicator was located, refurbished and installed.
*The original AM radio was rebuilt and converted to an AM / FM with hidden amplifier and ability for audio-in added.
*Front and rear Kenwood speakers professionally installed.
*Original dash pad, visors and headliner are in excellent original condition and unrestored.
*All NEW tinted glass.
*After market 3 spoke steering wheel.
*Original style in-dash tach installed instead of clock.
