312 Y-block engine.
Ford FMX auto transmission and Ford 9” rearend.
The pickup was built in the early 2000’s except the paint and upholstery are from the 1990’s.
The front suspension is 1995 Dakota IFS using a front crossmember from Industrial Chassis.
Has Saginaw power rack and pinion steering.
Front brakes are disc, rear are drum.
It has Pertronix ignition.
A tilt hood kit, electric lift for the custom-built steel bed cover, and a Grant steering wheel were installed in 2019.
Wheels are 15” Centerline.
Has a custom sliding rear window.
Running boards are chromed and have step plates.
Has a wood bed with SS strips.
Upholstery is 2-tone gray cloth.
The truck starts easily and drives very nicely.
The orange paint makes it an attention getter.
The paint does have some blemishes after 30 years and 11,000 plus miles.
It is a great truck for someone who wants to drive it frequently and not have to worry about it being perfect.
