38th Annual Winthrop Vintage Wheels Show

New this year we are including vintage wheels of all types into the show! This is an incredible opportunity to see:
•Antique Cars and Trucks
•Vintage Motorcycles
•Vintage Travel Trailers
•Antique Tractors
•Antique Bicycles
This is your chance to see some beautiful, restored, iconic wheeled treasures up close. Winthrop's old boardwalks and historic character add to the appeal of this event as the historic cars and motorcycles take over all of Winthrop's main street, the travel trailers will be showcased at the beautiful Pine Near RV Park and antique tractors will be displayed at the Shafer Museum, just 3 blocks from downtown. Antique bicycles will be displayed at Methow Cycle and Sport located 2 blocks from downtown.
An automotive/wheel-related swap meet will also be held at the Winthrop Barn. Walk to all the events from Winthrop's main street boardwalk. In addition to Winthrop's incredible scenery there is plenty of unique shops, brew pubs, coffee roasters and eateries to enjoy along with the vintage wheels show.
The Schedule of Events:
FRIDAY - September 6th
5:00 - 7:00 pm, Cruise-In
Vintage Wheel participants are invited to the Winthrop Barn for registration and social hour. The Public is welcome to view the antique vehicles in the Winthrop Barn parking lot.
SATURDAY
8:00 - 9:30 am, Parade Line-up for the Antique Cars
Antique automobiles line-up and stage at the Winthrop Inn on the east edge of town in preparation for the parade. The public is welcome to come view the cars here before the parade.
9:00 - 2:00pm Swap Meet
Buy-sell-trade! Wheel related items only...automotive, bike, tractor, trailer at the Winthrop Barn.
10:30am
Vintage Motorcycles, vintage trailers, tractors and antique bicycles stage at their respective areas throughout town.
11:00 am, Car Show Parade
Antique cars parade into downtown Winthrop and will be lined up and parked in downtown Winthrop for afternoon public viewing.
11:00 - 3:00 pm, Show 'n Shine
The streets of downtown Winthrop will be filled with fabulous cars and motorcycles from all eras. Just a few blocks away vintage travel trailers, tractors and antique bicycles will be displayed as well as the swap meet.
Experienced judges will be evaluating the vintage wheels and awarding category prizes including Best in show and the public can vote on their "People's Choice" for each division: automobiles, motorcycles, travel trailers, tractors and bicycles.
3:00pm Award Presentation
4:00 pm, Automotive Bucket Run
Car show participants can enjoy a scenic drive through the Methow Valley as you collect cards in this fun event. Best hand wins the whole pot!
